2nd SEMOC Microscopic Image Contest

The new call is here!

Surely more than once, while working at the microscope, you’ve come across an image that catches your eye. It wasn’t what you were looking for, but because of its colors, shapes, or composition, it made you pause for a moment and look at it differently.

These images appear almost by surprise and, although they may be striking or beautiful, they usually end up simply being saved away so you can stay focused on the experiment.

With this new call, we want to give them a bit more visibility. The idea is simple: to collect those visually outstanding images and share them, showing another side of scientific work.

If you have an image that deserves to come out of a computer folder, we invite you to take part and send it in. We look forward to seeing it!
