Instituto de Investigaciones Biomédicas Sols-Morreale (IIBM) is a joint center of Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), whose mission is to study the molecular basis of human pathology with a translational approach. By integrating basic and clinical research we aim to advance in the discovery of novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for the benefit of society.

Our Mission

Instituto de Investigaciones Biomédicas Sols-Morreale (IIBM) is a joint center of Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). The IIBM is currently one of the most important centers for research in Biomedicine in Spain. The Center's research is distributed in four departments: Cancer, Metabolic and Immune Diseases, Neurological Diseases and Aging and Rare Diseases. In addition training plays an important role in the Institute.
