Signed for the regulation of the IIBM as a CSIC-UAM joint institute
The new agreement between the Agencia Estatal Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (Spanish National Research Council) and the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, that regulates the IIBM as a joint CSIC-UAM institute, was signed by the president of the CSIC, Eloísa del Pino, and the chancellor of the UAM, Amaya Mendikoetxea, on 25th July. By virtue of this new agreement, the IIBM changes its name to Institute for Biomedical Research Sols-Morreale. This gesture pays tribute to two particularly relevant personalities linked to the IIBM throughout its history: Alberto Sols and Gabriella Morreale.
